Hmmm, millionaire decides he is the one to help, does so with his own money, actually helps. Tell me how govt could have done better by taking 67% of his income in increased taxes. Say he used $5M to help this one neighborhood; govt would spread that around the whole country, and... after administrative costs... every kid gets about $0.31.

That part of Oklahoma used to BE part of Texas when it was a country of its own. But they cut if off at 36 degrees 30 min latitude so when Texas became a state they could keep their slaves... and here I sit... 176 years later, still slaving away.
