Lol, idk what this map is meant to be talking about but the pan handle is the kinda place where nothing happens, no one lives there, there’s nothing of importance or interest. It’s the part of Oklahoma that basically doesn’t exist.
It's just there to keep Texas from getting too friendly with Colorado.

That part of Oklahoma used to BE part of Texas when it was a country of its own. But they cut if off at 36 degrees 30 min latitude so when Texas became a state they could keep their slaves... and here I sit... 176 years later, still slaving away.
When i was in elementary school in Texas we were told that’s Oklahoma reaching over and patting Texas on the head like a friendly uncle calling us sport lol
