For them who be wondering, the state of North Dakota has had over 8000 confirmed cases (not hospitalizations) and 129 deaths. Pop, 760K. We suck at quarantine, we only have started to wear masks in the last few weeks so what's REALLY going on here?

I will never pretend to be a medical expert. I do not have a problem with masks and social distancing for the next eighteen months. BUT in my area we sucked at quarantine. Only non essential businesses shut down, at least half of people never wore masks because it was never required until 3 weeks ago. Cancer, heart disease and old age are still the leading causes of death on my area. When news came about Italy and Spain, we expected something out of the book of Revaluations. But it never really came, so while I don't approve its not like they don't have a leg to stand on.

It is kinda funny watching teenage boys who work 40 hr/week labor jobs in the summer eat during their lunch break. They are basically human garbage disposals. My metabolism peaked around 18, I could almost eat an entire Little Caesar's 5 dollar carry out by myself without feeling like there was a rock in my gut, but that sure didn't last long, and I was never fat! I was one of those 6 foot string beans that was 140 lbs soaking wet all highschool.

I just suggest this so that there isn't quite the pressure to put in a politician that runs on a strong message that leaves others feeling like they can't do much until the next election.

Instead of paying 25% of my income can I instead pay in 30% of what I make and I personally decide where 15% of it goes. Want the military to have more toys? Fine, back them up, want a wall? Chip in boyo. Want a great space program? Go the extra step.

Now I'm just brainstorming here, OK?
Right now my tax rate is about 25% of my income. Fine. BUT I don't care for how the money is being spent. There needs to be more focus on maintaining roads, bridges and so on. Right now the only thing I can do is vote for my favorite politician and watch as they become caught up in political gridlock.

As an electrcian, this post makes me happy. The only thing I can think of to ruin this guys day is see if you can access the service room (in my experience unlocked half the time and pitiful security to boot.) And see if you can remove the neutral of the feed going to his apartment. Anything run a multibranch will go from 120v to 240v and will lose the rest.

I never said anything about 'the president must be a saint' I was pointing out that for all of Trumps faults, we can replace him with someone better, and we have had 3 1/2 years and Trumps rival in the ring this round, the best of the best. Biden. What cloth was that man cut from that he is undeniably better that say Yang or Gabbard? Can we not all agree this should be a competition for the best and brightest and not a celebrity popularity contest?
