I would argue a big 'no' on that one. One of the charms of the internet is that it is still in its wild west phase. Kinda like how you can get booted off twitter and continue as you do to a place like reddit is as similar as getting in a gun fight in one boomtown and housing up in another like nothing happened. You are never going to really 'win' an argument online, but its kinda like practice for getting into drunken arguments at a bar. No one said its good practice, but it is what it is.

But the Sharps rifle could one shot drop anything from a man to a bison at over 500 yards/meters. The Sharps rifle is why marksman are sometimes referred to as sharpshooter. But you only get that range with a long barrel. A cowboy with this pistol is like a Infantryman with a single shot .50BMG pistol.
