Lol, I came here to tag you in this thread because I remember the heart attack you gave everyone that day.

I mean: it's also pretty important to note the story itself never happened. The fact that this story is made up is a pretty key detail. Some twisted, horrible mind just made it all up for attention.

In the books, the Hobbits found the blade as they left the Shire when Tom Bombadil rescued them from the barrowights. It's something like that but I haven't read the series for a long, long time..

I've thought about it a lot because I loathe raindrops on my glasses.

If you blow as hard as you can for one full second, you're going to see it takes a lot of effort, and it will result in quite a bit of saliva being propelled onto your glasses. If you halve the exhale time with the same force, it's easier to blow bit there's still too much stuff coming out of your mouth. The good news in either case is the raindrops will mainly be gone off your lenses.

Halve the time again and you'll see it's about perfect: minimal effort and minimal saliva, while still taking care of most of the raindrops.
