As near as I can tell, a group of reddit users didn't like a mod, so they doxxed and cancelled her. Her father turned out to be a convicted sexual predator, and apparently that's close enough for reddit to flood the internet with memes about how great they are for getting a "pedo."

If you're listening to music on any phone, you are using an application, yes. If you kill all your apps while the music was playing, it would stop. The only exception is having something else set up to prevent your phone from closing certain apps.

@lydia Yep, you are right! The husband was accused; the father was convicted. Aimee (who reddit users got fired for being a "pedo") was neither accused nor convicted. But she was being civil to (and hired) her father to run some sort of campaign, which triggered reddit.
