Oh so it's like slang for pharmacists? I usually just call them licensed drug dealers

They're probably called chemists in other countries as sometimes doctors will create a custom prescription and pharmacists are then expected to create it. More often than not it's a topical solution but also for certain liquids they have to mix them themselves. I work as a pharmacy tech and we have what we call compounding stations it's where all the fun mixing and flavoring happens.

I totally understand and I did do my work if I needed to or if I needed it to pass the class as some teachers put a lot of weight behind it. I completely agree that trying to find a way out of homework like this example is wrong and the child should be told so and be asked to properly complete the assignment. However the fact that she did come up with it would indicate that she is intelligent as most 5 year olds wouldn't think it up. I hope the parents knew enough to make her redo it as it would be clear to the teacher that the parents did it and she should be taught that even though it was smart of her to come up with that solution that it doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

If a child fully understands the material they were given homework on then they don't need homework. In this example it's hard to tell but growing up I fully understood subject matter taught in some classes so then going home and practicing it seemed pointless. Unless homework heavily affected my overall grade I never did it, yet I passed most tests and classes with high grades. There isn't a single way kids should be taught they don't all benefit from the rigid structure of homework, test, grade. The system in the US flawed and frowns upon kids finding methods that work for them, take common core math, for example. If you tell kids there is one way to do things and everything else is wrong incredibly intelligent kids who could've done amazing things will grow up thinking they're stupid and could amount to nothing.

Cutthroat kitchen is like chopped's insane twin brother where they force you to cook with no utensils and easy bake ovens. On chopped they just go here's some 3 day old lettuce some foreign vegetable you've never seen before in your entire life and a questionable fish, now cook me a gourmet meal using these ingredients.

I worded it wrong. I didn't mean you yourself were doing it. A lot of the time people assume the dog had issues and that's why they ended up in a shelter and forget to think about how the humans could've been in the wrong. Dogs get put in shelters simply for being old or because people didn't realize puppies grow up and get big. So they waltz off to a shelter and go "I don't want it" without thinking about the consequences. That's a whole other living being they discard as trash because of the slightest inconvenience. Shelters get over populated and perfectly good pets get euthanized because of irresponsible people. Then when the newest breed trend pops up dogs get over bred and again end up getting tossed because people didn't bother to do proper research or take the proper steps towards training a dog. I'm not saying all dogs are perfect a lot do have behavior issues but it's completely possible to not only avoid but work on those problems by introducing good training.

Most of them they can't force people to keep the dogs and will usually allow them to surrender them as long as they pay a fee. It's fucked up.

The story was her owner was old and died. So she ended up with her owners kid she was extremely sad over her owners death and then got out somehow and ended up in a shelter. I think the shelter called and said she was there or they went to look for a new dog and saw her there, something like that. Anyway, their reasoning for leaving her behind was that she was too depressed and they wanted a happy dog. It's rude to assume it was the dogs fault.

Yes, exactly putting a label on it has somehow made it easier to explain and it's easier to find others like us. Visibility would be great if it gets out there kids could see that it's alright to not feel sexual attraction towards anyone and they won't feel pressure to have sex even if they don't want to. That's the way I felt. It was kinda like my friends want to do this with their boyfriends I've been with mine for a long time I should want this but I don't maybe if I do it I'll want to do it more. And I never did and since I had no idea what ace was or that romantic attraction and physical were two different things I did physical stuff because it was expected. I was 19 before I figured out why I only wanted a physical relationship with one person out of the few that I had been with.

Shivering isn't really cute, when you think about it. It's just the body trying to stay warm by having the muscles tighten and loosen super fast. The rapid movement causes heat, and voilĂ ! You don't freeze to death quite as fast as you would otherwise.

It takes a lot more good to outweigh the bad. My rescue pit has done nothing to hurt the people next door or their tiny dogs he even goes as far to lay down so they can reach him. But they still immediately scoop up their dogs as soon as I let mine out.

I also said that we do our own maintenance at home and growing up as a woman and still being taught maintenance goes to show that it's not just a man's job. If that's what works in your marriage it's all good you're not a shitty person because it's something both of you are happy with. But if both have equally intense careers both need to contribute.

Totally agree, it's not the house work that causes a rift and arguments it's one partner feeling like they're doing too much and aren't getting support from the other. But if it's something they both agreed on it's not an issue.

If both agree that one is gonna do either thing it's all good. But implying that that's how everyone should be just isn't right. Times have changed women and men don't have specific roles as much as they used to. The woman doing the housework becomes an issue when that individual isn't ok with it. Maybe they have a demanding career on top of kids and the household in that case it's important for both to contribute. But if one partner doesn't work I agree it falls upon them to pull their weight somehow but let's keep in mind that doesn't mean it's a woman staying home with the kids. Which is why paternal leave is just as important as maternal leave but that's a whole other topic.

It's not as big of a deal as people make it out to seem. I'd rather hang with a stoner than an alcoholic that's for sure. My father was an alcoholic he was a shitty dad my brother the man who raised me occasionally smokes pot for stress and insomnia. He's a great father who owns a successful company and has a beautiful wife and kids he doesn't hit his children for not getting him a beer fast enough so I stand with pot smokers.

I don't use and I never have but I know a bunch of people who do use that are responsible about it and don't use at work and what not. The ones who are irresponsible are in the minority but they yell the hardest so everyone has a skewed image of stoners because of the dumb ones.

Exactly, if it's a shared household then both should partake in caring after it. Women also have careers nowadays it used to be that they just stayed home and that's why they did all the cleaning. If both of y'all are working and sharing a home both should be responsible for the upkeep. And if no one does their own maintenance, which is some still do we do our own maintenance at my house, then it could fall on either one to call a professional and suss it out.

Love the implication that house work = women and maintenance = men. Because we still live in the dark days where women can't enjoy maintenance and men can't enjoy house work. If y'all are sharing a living space both of y'all are responsible for the upkeep both in cleanliness and function.

I got my pibble when he was 8 years old. As soon as he was considered a senior his family dropped him at a shelter. He's the sweetest old man, I'll never understand how someone could just abandon such a great pupper.

I usually don't, I don't like it. They're complicated and hardly anyone knows them. When someone asks my orientation I usually explain that I don't have one I'm not sexually attracted to men or women then tell them that it's called asexuality. Then they'll automatically ask "so wait you wouldn't want to have a partner?" and I'll explain that I do like men I'm just not that interested in the sex part.

Hey, how's it going guys. To further explain everything that was said my longer label would be asexual heteroromantic. That just means although I lack sexual attraction to both sexes I still have a romantic attraction to men. So I'm straight in the romantic sense and meh in the sexual sense
