I was in Cyprus three weeks ago (only five days before Brexit), and the exchange rate was only 1.24 to the euro.
Now it's 1.19.
The drop really isn't as bad as they say it is, and all it takes is a quick Google search to see.

It's taken from a weird angle.
There's no way a trained soldier would be aiming a weapon at a guy over someone's shoulder, with the muzzle that far from a fellow soldier's ear.
Even if all he's trying to do is intimidate him...
The guy drinking IS a POW, because you can see his hands tied behind his back.
However, if you took it from a perspective of the guy taking a knee, you'd see that the guy with the gun is probably a couple of feet in front.
Also, think about it logically. As the POW is tied up, there's no need to have a gun aimed at his head.
Furthermore, If they're going to abuse him or threaten him, they'd do it behind closed doors.
