Tbh, when I saw this last year I genuinely thought that was Weird Al. It was only after I read they caption that I saw that it wasn't.

No, no it is not. I'm guessing it's illegal to raise bears as pets wherever he lives. And he wasn't so much as shocked as "shocked".

??? That was the general modus operandi when I was growing up. How else were you going to know what else was on? Only rich people that bought the tv guide knew what was on all the channels. It was only later that it became a channel.

Of course there is also the straight up Nestle brand. At least in Florida you can find Nestle next to Zephyrhills.
Knight in... not so shining armour... 3 comments
lucky11 · 3 years ago
Also, most of the guys in full suits of armour had squires that were responsible for cleaning the armour. So basically they just went then, when able, stripped down and changed clothes and left it to others to make sure it was ready to go when they needed it next.

Generally they just went in their armour. If they smelled too bad they would just wade in whatever body of water they came across to rinse what they could out. Granted wearing armour, while not as uncomfortable as most people think, was uncomfortable for long periods. They would, if they had the chance and the field of battle allowed, remove it between battles. Otherwise, wearing it for weeks or sometimes even months was not unheard of.

Isn't the next photo in this series just the frog with the mouse's tail hanging out of it's mouth?

Physicians got a boat to float in reverse (air was injected under a moving fluid) 6 comments

This is probably a perfect example of human scientific progress. Scientists: This has interesting applications and could help further our understanding of the universe and what we're capable of doing. That one weird scientists in the back: I've got little boats lets add them for fun. Results: Well look at that. Not only did we learn what we thought we were going to learn but the fact the boat floats raises even more interesting questions.

To be more correct many of the guys this gets fired at make that much many times over. One of the many things I learned when I deployed to Afghanistan was that the leaders of the various groups, the ones we wanted to fire these at, raked in the money. They did it by taking mandatory donations from the locals and seizing any cash crops. They would sell the crops and give the farmer a tiny amount so that they could keep farming but rest went into their pockets and financing their attacks. Well their attacks and their leisure living for the winter months. Almost all of the mid to high level terrorists in the region I was at left to spend the winter months in Pakistan.

It may not be the fastest way to do something but it is a way to do it with the knowledge they had at the time. Fairly ingenious if you think about it.
