Well I can't post urls but the very first link upon searching her father Bert Carson is an article by the the daily advertiser that talks about how he put her in a private school, through 19 different space camps and had connections to the director of NASA to even get noticed in the first place. Well fuck me if I'm not applauding her father's money and connections to get the chances she's having. Call it what you want but that's at least 75% privilege. Yeah she went through the courses and training but how many others would blow her out of the water even given the chance. Spiteful sure but not untrue.

Believe me I would love to have taken the air force route. I was told I couldn't pilot because at 6' 2" my sitting height was over the 40" limit for cockpits.

My dad could barely afford a single christmas present at the end of the year.

So what is it called when you request the time off and then keep getting denied because the other people of your team request a day or two in between and he refuses to cover it, gives others priority who do not have seniority, and will generally act like and asshole. And on top of all that will usually just not show up himself and yet have an infinite amount of off days remaining.
