Still gonna fuck things up, regardless. I went through Andrew. Didn't scare me as much as this hurricane does.

Fun fact. I was really young when I first heard that America was in The Cold War. I was unsure of what it meant. I had assumed that we were fighting a really bad cold season.

Military forces can be used without a declaration of war. Can be in regards to United Nations, in joint congressional resolutions, or in regards to the War Powers Resolution. The last one was passed in the early 70s, even after being vetoed by Nixon.
War Powers Act/Resolution makes sure that the President can send forces abroad only if Congress declares war, statutory authorization, or if a national emergency is created by attacks upon America, it's possessions, territories, or armed forces.
So we can be "at war" without an official declaration from Congress.

Fun fact. Gloria in Excelsis Deo appears in multiple Christmas carols, and was originally a hymn sang during various Christian times, including Lent. That is why many associate it with Catholics.

I heard an argument about that the other day. Then, I laughed, as someone stated that kids shouldn't even get names until they are old enough to choose their own name. I was like "Dafuq is wrong with people!"

Or, use a dictionary website/app, to avoid any potential images you wish to avoid. That way you don't end up with "eye cancer".

I'm an American as well, but your numbers are a bit wrong. We actually have 11 aircraft carriers, the latest one being CVN 78. On top of that, only one of our ships has ever sank another ship in history, and that was the USS Constitution. It also doesn't matter how strong their military is. China has their hands in everyone''s pockets, including the US. Hell, we are in debt to China. Just over $1 Trillion in debt. It isn't all about who has the biggest guns. It is about who is smarter. You speak of shooting down nuclear weapons. How about finding a way to end it before it starts, so that doesn't have to happen? A nuclear fallout is unnecessary, and I'd rather not raise my kid in that environment, thank you. Think with intelligence, not with weapons. Killing solves nothing, so chill out with puffing out your chest.
