But you were already thinking about buying it, so in that case, yes, you would be saving money. But say you don't need a new computer because the one you have is working perfectly, but you decide to update it anyways because "Hey, look! That's on sale", then it wouldn't be considered saving money. It's about whethere you were planning to buy the item or not before you saw the sale that makes the difference.

The woman with the sign saying "Women are not for decoration" seems to be protesting against Hooters, or some others establishment that dress women in revealing cloths as part of the establishment's appeal, stating that women are intelligent and should be treated as equals. The other woman works at said establishment and is protesting the protester by holder a sign that says "Some", making the statement "Some women are not for decoration", thus trying to insult the protester by telling her she isn't pretty. Tough, at the same time, as stated Undercover, she is insulting herself by saying that she is beautiful enough to be a decoration and not much else.

My library has something like this and it's really inconvienent: it makes the stairwell too narrow and the open floor plan allows sound to amplify and travel farther.

Biologically speaking, do to brain injury, some people can't understand metaphors. It has to do with broken "cross-wires" in the brain.

Not all areas are primarily white. Perhaps they live in an area mostly populated by black people instead of white people.

I've noticed that people who are more "book smart" tend to be less "socially smart", while the reverse is also true.

For all I know, that clip is a parody of an entirely different movie/video game, but thank you for confirming your position.

Yes, but that's not the case here. He didn't want to wait for the red light (for the cars) and green walk signal (for pedestrians) and so crossed before his turn. The others on the sidewalk waited for the green crossing sign.

Your jealousy is rather petty. There is no need to destroy someone else's property just because you can't afford it or have it.

It's just plain rude 13 comments

If it's during class hours, than yes, it is considered rude. But if the teacher continues past his or her's allotted time frame, than I think you have the right to leave if you have another class or engagement elsewhere since it's rude to be late and some teachers don't let you in if you are. Students shouldn't leave before class ends, but neither should teachers keep students late.
