He had to pay back one year’s salary. The best part, though, is that after an investigation, they found out that he’d been gone from work for AT LEAST 6 years, but it could have been as long as 14 years.

Amazed that you’re willing to call a time in which you watched the God forsaken end of this show as ”the good old days”

Looks like he’s using his hands to walk/run and his torso to kick. Pretty boss. (And still within rules that way since he wouldn’t need to touch the ball with his hands)

I see your point, but I know Mayweather, at least, is not known for his charitable demeanor (I looked up “Mayweather Charity” just to make sure I wasn’t gossiping without backing, and the first two were of a charity under his name, but the third was an article titled “Floyd Mayweather Shuns Charitable Giving, Says He Makes Money For Himself”. In it he says he particularly doesn’t give to Africa because “what has Africa come and gave to my children and to my family?” Which is so not the point of charity.)
SO TLDR: It’s not fair to judge someone rich for spending money selfishly once, but if that’s all they’re in the news doing, maybe it’s okay to praise someone else over them.

Aw hell no. I work as a caretaker for a guy with profound special needs, so every day is the sort of wild experience you’d expect to have if you took a 200 pound 1 year old on adventures, and we have NEVER left a theater like this. If we can clean up after ourselves, so can everybody else.

Fantastic point. I would also argue that the salary they listed for a doctor is fairly low (avg. for the lowest paid specialty is closer to $200k) and that a doctor who was in the top of their field and concerned with money could choose a more lucrative specialty (neurosurgeons make more like $600k).

There was a study at UT that suggested that they may have made murmuring hooty noises with their mouths closed, like pigeons and ostriches. Partially based on the fact that birds evolved from dinos and don’t have vocal chords like we do.

See, that seems like the most sensible way to hire, but definitely isn’t the way many companies hire. And my “for the record” is that none of this applies in my field, so I’ve been fortunate enough to not have to deal with this. My frustration is just borne from the experiences or friends and family.

But... then why can’t those people be hired for the position? If 3 years experience isn’t worth much more than 0, WHY DO THEY REQUIRE 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE?

Separate counterpoint: They’ve already seen the video but thought it was kinder to laugh than to point that out.
