All too often people just don't understand how their quality of life is intertwined with all of these "evil" corporations.
.
To the people who have a simple view of the world's condition, like Chloe:
1) the recent high human quality of life that most of the population enjoy is a LOT more complicated to create and maintain than you understand.
2)if you don't believe #1, try to go and be the change that you think should happen on a scale equal to that of a corporation.

Are we both talking about the people who intend to storm Area 51? I'm confused.

So it's the mining of coal thats the problem, not the end electricity user who's enjoying their AC on a hot day?
.
The retail sales company is to blame but the person who gets their new wireless headphones delivered next-day is the victim?
.
I don't know what you think this planet should look like but if you expect a government truly chang things in that order of magnitude, be prepared to make some serious quality of life changes.

This is a good reminder of how important basic freedoms are!
You cant the freedom to make a better life for you or your family AND have a government that promotes equal outcome for 'everyone'. I say 'everyone' because the ruling class is above 'everyone' in a communist system.
.
Part of having freedom of speech is having the freedom to say ignorant things. It also allows for people who disagree to voice their beliefs. It's painful but that's how dialog begins. Silencing/sponsoring speech is a mistake REGARDLESS of the reason.

Do people really think it's government and corporations at fault?

Compare Biden's statement to Trump's statement about Baltimore . Then consider the accusations of racism and media response to each of them. If you'd prefer to just be angry, by all means ignore the contrast. But if you're after the truth, you should probably keep that in mind...

Are you paying him minimum wage? Are you offering him all of the healthcare benefits required by law? You better make sure you're withholding state and federal taxes!
My point is that too much government intrusion often makes it difficult to do the right thing.

Nicest? I disagree:
They don't need to know anything about how much the customer is willing to pay in order to make the ticket price as low as possible.
Knowing how much the customer can afford is only needed if they're trying to figure out how high they can make the price and still have you buy them....

But they dont have to pay income tax on it so it's a LOT more cash than $7.25.

I do too, i would much prefer to see them where they live. But if lion viewing costs $8k, most of the people on earth will go their whole lives without seeing one.

One of the greatest ruses this party has ever pulled off is convincing half the country that it's selfish to be prideful or to stand up for your own culture.
The irony is that that same culture is responsible for SO much of the quality of life everyone currently enjoys.

So the only way we can see a lion in person is to spend thousands and thousands of dollars to travel to their natural habitat in hopes that we can be one of the lucky groups who can actually see a flash of one before returning home......
