This is what happens when you let students name your school.

It amazes me how many people refuse to look internally when a problem arises.

Funny enough, the word thug actually comes from India. It used to reference a religious organization of assassins, thieves, and robbers.

My issue (well, there are many issues) with this, is that he's hiring mercenary groups who then go out as death squads and basically kill anybody they want. There's no legal process to any of this.

Broken right wrist, broken left thumb, shattered clavicle and shoulder, broken ankle, and several broken toes. All these happened before I turned 17. I was a very injurious child.

Here's my general rule: don't have sex with somebody who is drunk. That's it. Simple.

I used to work overnights and did that to myself once in a lecture class. It was quite embarrassing.

Right, so, if you want actual ideas on how to end rampant population growth: education and contraception. Keeping people economically poor forces them to have more children so they can work and earn money for the family. Educating people allows them opportunities to look beyond the place they currently are, while poverty narrowly focuses your efforts on the here and now. Education as a pathway out of poverty is a tried and true method that works wonders.

I'm saying empathy is lost on a lot of people. This weird cold hearted "rationalism" is not something to be celebrated.

People who regularly get to eat talk about the usefulness of others not having enough food and potentially dying from that.

Yeah, money definitely goes a long way toward giving most people the life they want. Of course, how you get that money is usually just as important as the money itself.

Yes...yes that's basically it. Good to see you're keeping an eye on news sources that aren't Fox, Breitbart, or Stormfront.

The state government of North Carolina passed a law, the media reported on it. If anybody is making trans rights an issue, it's NC and their backwards legislators.

Yeah, there's a phenomenon called the Urban Food Desert. Basically, in more urban and concentrated areas it's hard to find fresh and healthy food, so people just grow up living on what they can.

They tell you when you walk in which areas are for tours, camping, and general silliness. When I went I just took off my shoes and damn near sank into the sand. It's also an active missile test range.

100% agreed. Paying your employees well not only keeps them around but keeps them happy, which will end up saving the company more money in the end.

I'm glad somebody mentioned it. That movie is a landmark in filmmaking and a total farce at the same time. The TV show Documentary Now did an amazing parody of it.

The issue with this is that there was never anything stopping somebody from doing that before this law went into effect.
