I'm almost always on the internet, and when I'm not I'm either reading, writing or serving my furry master (the one pictured, I'm not THAT weird).

Yeah that was awesome! We have both changed so this isn't the beginning of a new friendship but I had spent years thinking about her and I'm really glad to see she's doing fine and happy with her life. *hugs back*
The Nords eat purposefully 5 comments

Me: ok no spices this time. Well maybe just a pinch to give it some colors... *some cinnamon, garam massala, bayleaf and pink berry later* oops I did it again.
I mean I get not eating spices at every meal but this post gives a very depressing and bland description of food.

I've seen a lot of these lately and that's the weirdest trend/red flag I've met in a while.

Cue to seniors cackling because they know they're almost out while the poor freshmen have to suffer through a few more years.

That is a fantastic work, both technically and on the concept, smart and cultured with a strong message.

A vulture in a hospital, what can go wrong?
I don't know what you're dealing with but it's good to see you have a fighter attitude!

Well that would not be totally wrong. I've stayed at the hospital after a surgery for a few days as a kid and I've felt what this post describes. (Plus everyone was nice, no one was angry for these few days.)

Kitty Lord. Imagine Harry Potter but the children have been kidnapped to be experimented on and every teacher is Voldemort.
(+ a quite mature lore based on actual witchcraft _by that I mean people interested in the esoteric stuff would recognize some of their belief_ and dives into the secrets of the Nephilim _beings mentioned in the Bible. The author, Mélusine Vaglio, is very tasteful and does not hurt anyone's beliefs, which I appreciate a lot despite not being religious myself.)
There are 4 books.

That's a really good thing I can't afford a plane ticket otherwise I would rush to my demise, roasting in the fire with a koala gnawing at my face.
But don't hesitate to post your koala here! (Btw does every Australian baby get a koala as soon as they're out of the womb, or does one have to immigrate to get a koala?)

Well I don't dig it up but I look at it ten times a day to see if it needs watering and if it has grown even the tiniest bit of leaf and I may or may not talk to it.

Uuuuh yeah right now this argument alone won't convince me to emigrate, but I'll admit it's a nice perk.

It's funny until you have to wake up for your mandatory 8am class on a saturday and you wish you could have chosen your classes à la carte.

That reminds me of something my mom said to me quite a few times when stories like appeared on TV: "I'll always love you and I'll always be proud of you. This [homosexuality] isn't bad but even if you did something bad, even if you kill people, I'll be there for you, concerned, devastated, but there. Nothing you can do will stop me from being your mother." and also "a lot of things are complicated on C'hulac. Loving your children isn't." I'm really thankful for my parents and your child will be thankful for you too.

I went to Reddit to understand you and I'm going to share my newly acquired knowledge: "all Vietnamese people can do that". A few people started claiming that and it became a trend.

As any other day. (Plus my sick colleague kept spluttering on my arms). But I was sorting through old stuff and I found the name of my best friend from when I was 4 and we're chatting right now so I'd say it's great :D

And don't forget the first students who are used to test out a new form of exam! Or a new teacher. After uselessly trying to talk with that one teacher we've had 2/3 of us boycott her class and go to the dean's office every time instead to argue that it was horrible, the teacher was condescending and worse of all we weren't learning anything. The remaining third went to class and gave them their notes or even recording so that they'd have proof. After hearing that she had given us 2hours to read a 2 pages paper while she was typing her notes for the next hour without anyhting else to do, he assured us she won't be there next year. That's something the next ones won't have to deal with.

But anyone who has roses, I suggest you pick the petals when they fall and add some water and sugar, boil, make delicious syrup.

Here we''ve had a "standard" 35h/week for the past 40 years or so and everyone's ok with it. Sometimes things are just right and people don't have a reason to complain.
