I am just a very thin layer of charming with some funny sprinkles wrapped around a huge creamy center of raging arrogant a-hole.

First if all... necropost.
Second, have you tried? I have and it works. They actually have to be wet. The hard part is taking them off in the water with out drowning.

She shouldnt have knelt. Knealing, especially in this context, is fealty.
She should have looked down on her, whether it was literally or metaphorical.

No. That electric vehicles are possible.
Radical paradigm shifts are often a losing prospect for the first generation.
Tesla, Space-X? Elon took the torch and ran with it. Quite literally.

Of course, that's how science and technology works, but I trust they will "deliver" because they've done damned well so far.
Unlike Toyota's Prius protections and their advertisements. That almost got them in some serious hot water.

I get the feeling that Elon didn't really intend Tesla to turn a profit. He did it to goad the rest of the industry into action. He did it to show the people it was possible, to take it seriously to show that a lot of the party lines regurgitated by the industry was bullshit.
He is doing it becasue no one else would.

Science makes testable claims and evolution is no different:
http://chem.tufts.edu/answersinscience/evo_science.html
More specifically, the Tiktaalik Roseae.
A gap existed between fish and tetrapods, there was no transitionary fossil yet found in the record.
Based on assumptions made by evolution, it's morphology and extant era was predicted. Once a site was determined that was amenable to being able to search that rock strata, it was looked for.
Guess what? It was found with the predicted morphology in the predicted strata.

Well, not just the memes. For us, our people.
Things like the exhibitor hall I mentioned for our artists. Meet & Greets, social mixers, panel discussions.

I just noticed that dispite the low vote count, this is on the front page. It would seem that the "powers that be" think it deserves greater exposure.
Congratulations, bravo! :)

Absolutely not. Being dead serious here.
I mean, it's unlikely to ever happen, but...
If we do, artists like you, @cactuscake and many others here deserve to have a place for your art for the members to see it in person.
Sell prints and autograph them or just set up a small gallery.

Well, it's starting to look like if a FS con ever becomes a thing, we're going to need an exhibitor hall too.

I'm digging this. Shot as a dark comedy.
Bonus end credits scene:
Family is out in the yard wielding various religious accoutrements as beams of unholy light of various colors shine through the windows, the house shakes and rattles as a chorus of demons howl inside.
Dad has a staff of some kind, mom has book open and is chanting in Latin. Sis is doing something with herbs. Little bro has a squirt gun with holy water.
Maybe the family's golden retriever is even holding a crucifix in his mouth.
A black classic Impalla comes to a screeching halt in front of the house and the Winchesters hop out. Dad looks over his shoulder as they run into the yard.
Dad says,
"Thanks for coming. I think we've got this one, but we won't say no to help."
