I am just a very thin layer of charming with some funny sprinkles wrapped around a huge creamy center of raging arrogant a-hole.

I did, but my report was in another thread.

In summary: It was pretty OK. Tasty, but didn't quite live up to the hype. I had tacos and the guy making them wasn't shy about absolutely stuffing them to bursting. Thats a plus, I was served sour cream on the side and dipped the tacos as I ate them.

Summary of the summary: It was good and I'll (eventually) eat there again.

The point here is that while they think they are woke edgy niceguys wearing a Fedora, they are in truth delusional and creepy manchildren with a tenuous grasp on reality that can't tell the difference between hat styles.

Nevermind the wearing of a trenchcoat over cargo shorts, a novelty print t-shirt and socks with sandels. Not to mention the poor grooming habits under the guise of, "bucking societal norms." Dude, you arent counter culture, you're nasty. Take a fucking shower.

To paraphrase Chris Rock, "I'm not sayin' I condone bullying... let's just say I understand.

What do you mean "costs"? 38 comments

Military training isn't free. The effective cost to the government is $50,000 to $72,000 for Basic Training. AIT alone can run well into low six figures. Mine was in the 120k range.

There's just no cost to you.

@zinope You are dead wrong about the Army. If you score high enough on the ASVAB and the slot is available, they let you pick any specialty you want.

That's not all that different from scoring high enough on the SAT to get into the school you want and a prospective employer having an opening for that position wben you apply.

Let's be honest here people.

Worst case scenario is police, face on the news, tried and found guilty by the media before the chief prosecutor even files the charges... and a false accusation that will be next to impossible to defend himself against.

Before you raise your thumbs to refute, think long and hard about it.

* Not White People, Pretentious White People.
The sort who are also likely sheltered, white picket fence, white guilt and so overly PC that it circles back around to being discriminatory again.

The ones who are likely to say, "I'm not (blank), I have a freind who happens to be (blank).
If you have to qualify defending yourself against a discrimination accusation... sorry, but you actually are.

Radiation? Yes.
Cancer causing? An emphatic NO.

Here's how it works:
Everything on the Electromagnetic Spectrum is radiation. From ELF Radio, through the tiny fraction of visible light, all the way through the pants-wettingly powerful Gamma Ray Bursts... it's all radiation.

It's divided into two catagories, Ionizing and Nonionizing. Everything from roughly the middle of Ultraviolet down is Nonionizing. Nonionizing means it doesn't/can't cause cancer.

This device brodacasts somewhere in the radio end of the spectrum, in the Nonionizing part.

Now, from the middle of UV up, that IS Ionizing. As the frequency increases, so does the power/energy of the wave. Enough energy to interact with your DNA at the atomic level, alter molecules and cause DNA to mutate... and cause cancer.

There's WAY more to it, but that's the basic gist.
