I am just a very thin layer of charming with some funny sprinkles wrapped around a huge creamy center of raging arrogant a-hole.

I only know what's happening because I've seen it already and with far more pixels and frames than this.

Here's the thing... if you're gonna go that route, just cut to the chase and get yourself some Jameson Cold Brew. It's cold brew coffee and whiskey. Basically, Irish Kahlua.

Well...
A species of capuchin monkey in Brazil has officially entered the Stone Age. They did so 300 years ago in fact. Not only do they use stone tools, their use of stone tools is evolving. That's a huge leap past pointy sticks.

Kinda cool, kinda scary. From the article I read:
"If the monkeys follow a similar evolutionary process to humans, they will develop nuclear weapons at some point after the year 3,500,000.

We’re glad to report that the nightmare scenario of (another) nuke-crazed ape species running wild on our planet is unlikely to come to pass."

I don't care if you're Drax the Destroyer, when a toddler hands you a toy phone and says it's for you, you take it and say hello.

I have mixed feelings about these sorts of things.
On one hand, it may seem heartless to block or obstruct a place a homeless person may take shelter.

On the same token however, it is to my mind, a non trivial safety and security concern for both the employees that work in the building and the facility itself when there are potential sheltering spots at or near entrances.

Easy solution, forward each of them back to IT individually for investigation with the note, "caught another for you..."

Yup, you got it. I'm taking it one appointment, one diagnosis, one treatment and one day at a time.
It's the best I can do and you know what? Lately, I've been having more good days than bad. :)

Ok, so I'm gonna need about six of these dudes for my yard.
One will be hiding behind the 15 foot ornamental pine in the front yard and will be peeking out from behind it. Another will be on the roof, climbing over the peak while hanging on to the chimney.
Perhaps one will be hiding behind the fence and be peeking into the front yard from the back, Kilroy style.
No so sure about the others yet, but I'll think of something.

No, thank you. :)

When I was mulling over weather or not to post, decided I probably should because in a weird sort of way, I owe it to you guys.
Owed in the sense that many of you care, have a vested interest or are just simply curious.

I've become kinda known as "The Deadpool Guy here at the Cancer Center.
Last week, the scan technician said I looked familiar and asked if I recently had a scan or procedure there. I had, I told her and I was probably wearing my Deadpool socks. "YES!" she exclaimed, "I was sure I knew you."

Caaancerrr sucks, it really, really sucks.

Almost didn't post this time. Same shirt, same chair, same treatment... nothing really new.

Now, that said, I did have mid-treatment scans last week and got the results today. Doc says that they "look very good." It's not yet a victory, but good progress.
I'll have scans again after Round 4. Probably the week of October 18th. Those will be very informative as to the nature of the continuing mantenance treatment I will need.
