I have always found Hershey's sickly sweet compared to many of its competitors. Never understood why people like it so much. Then again, I mostly buy chocolate with a cocoa content >55%. It changes how you see chocolate :-)

This is exactly how I treat my ex and our son. It's hard but it has to be done.

Lol nice reference! "He was shortish and stoutish and brownish and mossy, and he spoke with a voice that was sharpish and bossy." I sometimes use this description on my colleagues.

My sweet springer spaniel Jasper used to lie like that. But he'd move as fast as a wolf spider if you dropped a piece of food.

Yes, it's cruel to keep an animal in a completely synthetic habitat. If a cat is injured, it is sad but by no means cruel. If you don't have the appropriate environment for a particular pet, then you shouldn't have that pet.

The taming of cats is linked to humans' agricultural revolution ca 10k years ago. We grew grain and for the first time were able to store food in large amounts. Then came the rodents. Cats helped with this problem and in return got shelter and affection. It is cruel and selfish to lock these predators indoors, regardless of their impact on endangered birds. Please don't do it.

But... the plague wasn't spread via water. It was spread via blood transmission (fleas bites), contact with infected bodies or coughing/sneezing.
