Independent really means that you can take care of your shit. If you choose to put that toward being a homemaker, do it up. Do it well and have a plan in case your spouse loses their job or divorce or whatever.

Aren't we all like that? Or shouldn't we be? "Hey, here's my crazy. You on board or not?"

There was a girl who actually had her arm (which was undersized and she couldn't move) amputated to get a more useful prosthetic

I mean I laughed at this post... I'm just thinking, if that's your thing.. you can't vote for Clinton because she lied... how can you vote for Trump who lies repeatedly and openly.

Her friend should show the guy the photo... if he thinks it cute they're good. If he thinks its crazy, its for the best that they didn't meet.

I'm not against any two consenting adults getting married... I just think the statement "Jesus had two dads sound like a "movies explained badly" meme

... cold-hearted? It's just ice cream. He didn't deny him dinner. Maybe dad will get him ice cream anyway or maybe dad only has so much to spend on dinner and can't buy the ice cream.

What!? I'm a pro marriage equality Christian and I still don't get that. I don't think its a convincing advocate for marriage equality, nor does it represent Christian beliefs.
- EDIT: I mean the sign saying Jesus had two dads isn't consistent with Christian beliefs. Not that Christians can't be pro gay marriage.

... it could be about the defense budget or social security (*sobs softly*), it could be about funding for the arts, it could be about money spent on SETI, it could be about subsidies for any number of special interest groups. We don't know what the guest disagrees with.

Also, there is nothing wrong with having a child wear something based on religious beliefs as long as it doesn't cause harm. You don't even know what they are. Some orthodox religions even encourage there youth to explore outside cultures so they can decided as an adult whether or not to commit to their religion. You want to force your beliefs on them. Really who is being intolerant.

Did you watch MR. Rogers? First, shows that are slow like Mr. Rogers are better for young children. Fast cartoons actually ruin their ability to learn and concentrate. Second, what do you want 3 year olds to watch? It's not meant for adults.

I think there is a difference between slut shaming and judging someone for a poor life choice... like eating 5 guys two days in a row ;)

Is it strange that we are all stuck on this email issue? People keep saying they don't trust Hilary because she is a liar. Now I don't really trust any politician, but her opponent openly lies every time he opens his mouth. Countless big and little lies. He just vomits them, but we just kind of got use to it... so the media just lets it slide?

I freely admit that people of other ethnicities... and literally dark skin run into challenges I don't, but I am sick of it being call "white guilt" and "white privilege". It's not like this is some secret plot our generation came up with. Can we speak on the issues without point fingers.

For those of you who have never vote, the president is not the only thing on the ballot. You have other important things to vote for. Do your research.

You've grossly over simplifying the issue. Even middle class families struggle to afford the cost of raising children. You are saying only those who are well off deserve the happiness of having children.
