I wonder if anyone ever actually uses security locks like this. Not a bad idea if it works.

That seems kinda self centered... that being happy with your own world view is the primary goal. I like it better if we act as if helping other people be better is priority number one. Besides, that seems like more of a surrender to ignorance than I'm comfortable with.

But a person does choose to wear a dress or get a sex change even though he is fully aware that he is male. So it depends what you're taking about.

I prefer to think that people punish themselves. I like the way I heard it said once: "To every man is given the key to the gates of heaven. The same key opens the gates of hell."

It's a list of instructions according to Mosaic Law -- the law that Christ fulfilled and subsequently replaced with his higher law. So while there is a lot that can be learned, it is more of a historical record than direct instruction at this point.

I still don't get it. Saying "I ended up in the wrong body" implies a whole bunch of things, starting with the claim that "I" exist independent of my body, and that "I" am a different sex than my body. Unless we're trying to make a spiritual argument, it doesn't make sense. And if we are trying to make a spiritual argument, most religions would take issue with such a claim.
It would make more sense to simply say something like "my body just didn't develop the way it was supposed to." Wouldn't it?

I don't understand the kid's argument. The wrong body? On accident? How does that even make sense?

I don't think the job is what matters as much as the attitude. The key is internal, not external.
