Smiling technically fools your brain into being happy, since you are conditioned to smile when happy. It can also act as a weak painkiller since your brain is releasing stuff like dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins when you smile. You could also conclude people who are smiling more often than not are junkies getting high off life.

Generally, I think we can all agree on either side of the political spectrum: Bill Stuffing is a grimy, slimy, underhanded, feckless tactic. even more so when there is real threat being faced by he general public. It didn't make any sense when the Democrats wanted a bunch of nonsense included when they did it, it doesn't make any sense when Republicans want a bunch of nonsense included in the bill.

Well, the way I'm looking at, my feelings on pure democracy is that majority rules is a lot like gang rape. only more than half have agree on it to start it, but that doesn't make it right. If California, New York, or any of the states where enough of the population resides to make up 51% of the total population got to decide who wins the election every time we had a presidential election, It'd be a shittier form of deciding who gets to be President if all you had to do was campaign in two or three states. I understand the electoral college isn't perfect, what with battleground states changing all the time and essentially boiling down to campaigning in certain states, but I prefer to err on the idea that each state should have some modicum of power when it comes to the elections, rather than the abject reality of the most populous states deciding what happens for every other state in the federal branch of the government.

Then consider them a big enough base for votes that don’t reveal themselves as votes for Trump until they actually vote. Plenty of folks across the political spectrum who dislike Trump voted for him in 2016 and I doubt that’ll change come November. If anything, 2020 election day is shaping up to be a repeat of 2016. Hell, the one professor whose method of prediction accurately picked Trump as the winner by electoral vote is predicting as it stands that he’ll win again.

If there was anything everyone should have learned from the 2016 election results, journalistic integrity was as good as dead when it comes to politics. On election night they gave Hillary a 90ish percent chance to win the election. And regarding the polls, a lot of folks have been saying these ones, just like the 2016 polls, are inaccurate. They're not actually polling the entire voting demographic, they're just getting poll results from one side that won't vote for Trump. People don't want to say they're voting for Trump, and the fact that only leftists (far and otherwise) are comfortable expressing their politics without fear of being dog piled for wrongthink in another poll makes the silent majority a very real and credible source of votes that are currently uncounted. Poll data can be public, and you can be found out saying you were going to vote for Trump come November, thus they lie or remain silent in this current political climate.

China Travel Ban, instituted by the president, decried by anyone drinking the "That's Racist" Elixir of moral superiority, and then they proceeded to drink "What a Tragedy" Tonic to lament no action being taken to prevent such a thing from happening now that the death toll mounts, I can only conclude that people want bad things to happen so they can complain about supposedly unrelated bad things happening. Misery doesn't just love company, it actively seeks it out nowadays.

Never got that hot here, but my dad put a paint bucket that had been sitting in white hot ashes for a night into the trash can and left for work. Not a minute later I walked out with trash to toss and the damn thing was on fire and had melted a hole into the side. I consider my father to be smart, but I have no idea what was going through his head when he did that.

One bit of lore I played around with why humans are able to copulate with so many other different races is because a freak accident blew through at all the refuse the gods had tossed aside when making their chosen races and the result ended up being able to interbreed with everything else since it has a little bit of everything else tied into it at it's core.

Well a further explanation of my argument is that people don’t disconnect the angry emotion they have against Karens to non-Karens, a staple of (un)civil discourse nowadays.

I mean, there are people out there working jobs in the summer heat and have to wear masks. Let's not belittle people loading and unloading all your packages you're ordering since the start of February, which was supposed to be the end of their busy season, but has not at all slowed since the outbreak. Sure, 30 year old facebook moms should catch the flak, but try to be a little less callous and demonstrate some empathy.

Well, literally no one on the global stage is saying shit about anything the CCP does. Evicting African Ethnic Renters for fear that they spread the Coronavirus, Rounding up Uighur Muslims, sending them to "re-education camps", sterilizing them, harvesting organs from them, forced labor, the whole fiasco of the Coronavirus where they locked down the city but they let anyone who had gotten out of the place before hand in the region travel freely to wherever they pleased, Picking beef with India, edging in on Russia's territories, destroying personal freedom and liberties in Hong Kong, Making militaristic maneuvers into the South China Sea, preventing Taiwan from joining the WHO through their puppets in the organization, literally no government or persons in power has done anything to snap at the CCP for what they do. For better or for worse and whether or not it's true, the CCP believe they have the reins to throw their weight around however they feel they can.

Apparently they were also harboring a fugitive. Keeps getting spicier since they're considering closing down the US consulate as a result.
