We have five phalanges on each hand. Four of them are fingers, and one of them is an opposable thumb. The medical technicalities on physiology have their reasons for differentiating the lone thumb from the rest of the phalanges, but my rationale for it is that while the other four are referred to as a finger of some sort (Pointer/Middle/Ring/Pinky finger), the thumb is always referred to as a thumb, not a thumb finger.

An attempt to get the kids to behave. but like other demands to respect authority, if you have to ask, did you ever have the power to naturally be respected?

And if anyone is confused about the difference, one has to stand above you and speak over you, and the other simply wants to know what you think of what they present.

There's a difference between presenting an idea to explore and discuss and trying to stand on a soapbox and preach.

This reminds me of that one woman who became a stripper/dancer after being some sort of faith minister.

The perspective on a lot of his paintings aren't consistent. One window might be misaligned, or the perspective is completely different than the rest. Details sort of pop out to you that there is no consistent design to how things are placed. Not enough to stand out at a glance, and lead you into the conclusion it isn't all that bad, but further inspection shows disconnect. A lot of his work might be better as an architects render than as art.

I'm sorry to ruin the illusion, I hope one day we can engineer a cow that produces flavored milk.

I dunno, the fact that a good chunk of the US believes brown cows make chocolate milk? Inane stupidity has unfortunately become the simplest of answers in these times.

It was supposed to be a certain number of years after Walt's death, but the company has lobbied to extend Mickey's tenure as an exclusive IP to be practically indefinite. Mickey ain't going to become public domain by the time 2024 rolls around, mark my words.

The reason this case is silent because it proves the government is not your friendly big brother looking out for you, and that being armed does deter the government from doing unjust and unlawful things to you, your family, your friends, and your property.

I'm not pretending the new one is worse, it is worse. It's not a film, it's an advertisement for every IP WB owns. And a 2 hour advertisement at that.

You technically are more accurate holding a pistol in one hand far out with your arm as straight as you can get it while looking down the sights. The longer the sight radius the less deviation in where the bullet can go. As for where you place your other hand, it doesn't matter so long as it isn't throwing you off balance.

Move to California and make sure to not take anything in a total of 900ish dollars and you can experience that. Minus getting arrested.

I personally think any sort of behind the scenes code restricting ones creative urges and ideas especially relating to media is a bad idea on principle, no matter how you slice it.
