Very true, and it's very possible that even without ideological differences we'd still find reasons to fight, but I still can't help but wonder if it's all really worth all the extra trouble. I mean it's not like established religions have been especially peaceful, aside from things like Buddhism and Jainism (Just to be clear I'm not condoning the forcible removal of religion, but the idea of voluntarily moving away from religion)

Same, actually. I was pissed off and looking for a fight when I wrote it, but I stand by what I said. At least we can be civilized about it. Care to share why you believe it should remain such an integral part of society?
