Yea, that's a banded woolly bear caterpillar. they go dormant through the winter and metamorphosis in the spring

I'm also buying a house for the sense of security actually owning your home affords you, so I'm actually paying towards something other than my asshole landlord's (who could force me on to the street whenever the mood strikes them) new car, and so I can stop at the end of the day and say "Goddamn, I busted ass to get where I am, and I have something more than a piece of paper to show for it"
