That's true, but it's when it devolves into a neurosis that compels you to berate somebody else who doesn't do it as safely as you might that it becomes a problem. There really isn't a way to make old cars safer, and if you don't want to drive them that's totally fine, but don't come after me because i prefer them over modern cars

Life isn't safe, you could drop dead right now for absolutely no reason, so why should I sweat driving an old car? Besides if you really think driving is so dangerous that you need a safety bubble then maybe just take the bus

Yeah, actually it is. Life without risk isn't life, and I'd much rather live a short life doing what i love than live a long one full of regret

@ajhedges maybe, but I'm of the thinking that a car's soul isn't something they're built with, but rather a manifestation of character that comes from years of love and appreciation from their owners. A new car can certainly aquire a soul, but they don't start with it.
