See the problem with your opinion is it's uninformed. As Murray Rothbard said, "it is no crime to be ignorant of economics, which is, after all, a specialized discipline and one that most people consider to be a ‘dismal science.’ But it is totally irresponsible to have a loud and vociferous opinion on economic subjects while remaining in this state of ignorance."

"No one that seeks their labour 40 hours a week should be living in poverty." I'd like to introduce you to subjective value theory... It states that things are only worth the amount at which other people value them. There are endeavors that most certainly do not warrant a salary sufficient to sustain someone working 40 hours a week.

By no means defending Davis, but the nature of her job changed and conflicted with her religious beliefs. I don't believe she had the right to do what she did, but if she felt so strongly why didn't she just quit?

"I hate that people are making a big deal about socialism but honestly America needs it." You have no idea what you're talking about. The poor in America are still some of the richest people in the world. And to those of you thinking, well what about Denmark, their legislative climate is more conducive for business creation and expansion than America's is. They have a higher degree of economic freedom.
Anything Michael Moore has to say about capitalism is biased jackassery. I got an undergraduate degree in economics, finance and statistics and a doctorate in econometrics and fiscal policy. You think we need socialism? You know nothing.

Vote me down all you want but I now sit at a desk doing financial modeling for over 80 hours a week. Far more challenging than my undergrad or post graduate experience.

$50,000 per year, but I got an academic scholarship. This is kind of like the people that say their going to drop out of school and become millionaires, sure, there are outliers, but it's the rule, not the exception that matters.

Robin Hood did NOT steal from the rich who were stealing from the poor via taxes. He stole from the government tax collector and gave it to the poor. The modern equivalent being stealing from the irs and giving it to the poor, which would be awesome.
