I'm comparing Carter to FDR, not Carter to Hitler or Trump. From reading, it seems like the snopes article says Carter isn't like trump (which I agree with). But I also think that there are similarities between him (Carter) and FDR.

Did not intend to imply it was a direct comparison of that he broke the constitution, my apologies.

Ummmm. Carter banned Iranians from entering the United States during the hostage crisis, so we literally saw it during his presidency.
