Look, I'd like to amend what I said earlier. I HOPE I'm not a bad person. Sometimes I feel like I'm a robot engineered by scientists to be an asshole without even realizing it. I am always, genuinely looking for ways to improve the way I think, even if I don't understand it sometimes.

This would be ideal. IF:
1. The person is actually ok. Mentally and physically, they have to be sane and sound.
2. They understand that other people feel sad, and sadness is something evolution "created" for a purpose.
3. They are happy about the right things. For example in the post, he would not laugh at the fact that the person is dead, but is instead remembering all the good memories and times he had with that person.
4. They strive to create happiness wherever they go, but of course being mindful of the circumstances that might surround others.
5. They reduce discontent. They aren't antagonistic, selfish or rude.
If the human mind suddenly lost the capacity to feel sad, imagine how much we could accomplish knowing how sadness felt.
