That's a good point, but it doesn't really explain all of the other stuff you mentioned about him. IMO, he's not fit to be president, or in a leadership role anywhere. He has little to none of the qualifications that I would expect someone as important as the figurehead of the most famous country on Earth would have. Thanks for the info @guest_ I learned stuff today.

first things first, you should know about what you're talking about if you decide to enter an arguement. Nobody survives a battlefield without a weapon.
and funsubstance, correct me if I'm wrong, but people find Trump disagreeable because of his:
childish way of speaking (especially when criticizing or complaining)
his active attempts to stop investigators from doing their job
complexion (hence the orange man term)
his outstanding debt and tax fraud?
his outlandish plan to build a wall
people's low confidence in him to take the right actions when dealing internationally
his tendency to claim things that are false
covfefe
his sexual misconduct allegations

metalman, I know this is unrelated but this is perfect timing. How exactly does tempering make steel harder? I get that steel contains carbon and iron, but on a molecular scale, why is it stronger. Does it also make the metal more brittle?

"The reverse sear method might change the way you cook a thick steak forever. The process involves baking in the oven followed by searing on a pan. I’m a fan of this technique as it provides more control of the internal temperature, a stunning browned crust, and a more tender piece of beef." -jessicagavin.com.
It's like sous vide, but with an oven. It's perfect for a dog because he'll get the steak with a crispy outside with a cooked inside, so no bacteria?

Something original like dinosaur porn? Strangely, it's been done. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get taken down for a while. We're in a wasteland now

(anakin quote on sand here). What I'm trying to say is sometimes when a joke is made at someone's expense, it's often not inflammatory, it's to better communicate a different perspective of something. Of course, there IS inflammatory humor, (it would be ridiculous to say there wasn't), and there are some jokes that take it too far. It takes wisdom to recognize the difference. Is the joke above likely to spawn a wave of anti-muslim sentiment? Probably not. Is it likely to cause a muslim to question their religion? Probably not. (and if it does, that's their personal problem). Sometimes it's better to take a step back before you get all pissy ("you" is in general, I'm not calling anyone out. I'm included myself.) and recognize what a joke is trying to tell you.

Here's the thing. Today, we have a "modern" society that has free access to information, and therefore intelligence. However, intelligence does not equal wisdom. So those who understand a subject (and those looking to) generally turn to the format that they are best versed in, and one that is not meant to be taken in a negative form: humor. A recent example: Notre Dame. When the news first came out, it was a solemn moment for many. Less than a day later, we were seeing memes about it. Even if a person didn't know what Notre Dame was, they would see these humorous posts, and subconsciously they'd be gathering information about Notre Dame. So, the post above: logically, it's kinda ridiculous. The entire point of the SI Swimsuit edition was to show skin (I think they even did painted swimsuits, don't quote me), but also lying down on a beach in full clothing is just a plain bad idea.
