I mean, it's not like the "resources" are leaving, they're just turning into things that we can't use. Science brought us the sickness, it should be able to bring us the cure. In the meantime, we need to limit the amount of "things that can't be transformed into something else" we produce.

It might, or it might not. But depression is a mental issue, and like I said it's different for everyone. There isn't any "do this and youre fixed" for depression. Surely being antagonistic to other people offering a possible solution isn't a good idea. If, by chance guest does think that the cure to depression is to just "get out of a victim mentality" then obviously there would be a problem there.
