Just turn your phone off and reply to all missed messages afterwards (and after you've called all your friends to fangirl).

It's like if you saw a pretty, dainty, little girl holding a teddy bear fighting off zombies and demons and ninjas with the Sword of the Universe and the determination of a warrior plastered on her face.
Sorry, that got a bit out of hand. But you get the gist.

And John is playing "Sherlock Series Three", no wonder it's taking so damn long to come out.

To guest, 1.) the majority of the population, in my opinion, is dull and boring and they put down people who are different from them even if they're not necessarily bad. That's why so many people are outcasts, because they technically aren't normal, but they're also not bad.
2.) It sounds like it wasn't Tara's fault, so I would hardly say she deserves it.
3.) Beauty fades. Also, "ugly" people could just be nice because they're nice. They're not trying to compensate for anything, they're just being good people.
4.) She's not constantly moaning, complaining, and stagnating. She's on the Internet making quips and having some fun and being nice, which is more than you can say.
5.) I might be able to take you more seriously if you hadn't resorted to the cowardly position of a guest. Sign in or make an account and then we'll debate.

Assuming you're talking to me, I'm not sure what we should call them. Perhaps Caucasian? However, I just looked up the definition of "Caucasian" and it says "often offensive", so maybe not. Anyways, this is just how I write, sorry if it sounds a bit proper.

Yeah, it's really weird. I suppose it's because some people associate "white" with things such as Starbucks, Forever 21, etc. (at least for white girls).

I think the volume on the commercials or previews before was just lower so you'd have the volume higher in order to hear it better, and so when this came on and the volume was louder than the previews and commercials it was way too loud.

Also, some people DO find "white" to be offensive. I forget what they prefer instead.

Oh, and @annoyinglypositive, I meant to mention it earlier, but with the family member of mine, I wasn't really personalizing it. I mean, I was since it happened to be someone in my family and someone I know, but I was more just using that as an example as to how it's not always like this.

I could try that, but I'm not so sure they'd have a pleasant reaction to that description either.

I can kinda relate. My mother worked as a waitress for a good portion of my life and the stories she would come back with about various customers was unbelievable. But she was a good worker and also never fucked with a costumer without warrant. That's just stupid.

Normally, I'd say something about how that was rude or arrogant or some such but I really have to agree with you.

I'm kinda getting annoyed by these "most people are like ______ but then here I am _______" and when they describe the "most people", it's actually a very rare skill or talent or some such and the "then there's me" part actually relates to a greater portion of the population. You're not as unique as you think you are.

rounder face than the right.
Anyways, I just felt the need to point all of this out because is was clearly an act of manipulation. Down-vote me if you want, because a lot of these points can't be proven, but I still wouldn't trust this example.

Maybe her eyelashes are that long naturally, and even if they weren't, it's not like she wouldn't have any whatsoever as the right picture presents. Also, the right picture gives her bags under her eyes that weren't previously there. True, the makeup could've covered up the bags, but how would you know? It's unfair to give her bags.
Also, her nose appears flatter and smoother in the first picture, but not in the "no makeup" one.
You gave her lines around her mouth that weren't there that caused her to look older. Also, how would you know the color of her lips? Why did you give them such a dull color? They could be redder or pinker—probably not nearly as pink as the left photograph, but pinker. Also, her smile is smaller and that has nothing to do with the lipstick.
May I also point out that the skin tones are very slightly different. In the left photograph, Barbie has a warmer skin tone as opposed to the cooler, duller Barbie to her right. Also, the left Barbie has a rounder face t
