Not that I eat out often since I prefer to prepare my own food but I've never once yelled at a server or cook in fact I have waited close to an hour for my food once.

Last thing I bought a warranty on was a tv in 2012 and the very day after that 3 year warranty expired my house got struck by lightning, and despite everything but a computer having a surge bar only the computer (a piece of junk from 2011) survived. So I started to forgo warranties and noting has broke yet.

Not Michael bay because the hive is still intact, that would have been at least one megaton of tnt for Michael bay.

It can be undone if done right, besides given the average luck with warranties it'll be expired by the time anything happens. Plus I bought my phone without a warranty anyway so rooting it just to block ads system wide wasn't a problem.

Soundhound, I've had it for about a year and have had a 98% success rate in identifying songs, its only failed on a few obscure unsigned garage bands, I actually just used it to id a song from the 1940's.

Nope, I work with animals that range from 600 to 1700 pounds most with horns, one good kick or goring and I'm dead especially since I live alone and have no family so fear is a constant and real thing no fictional characters can trigger in me.

The school I went to (public) had a great vocational program (auto repair, electronics, and woodshop) even branching out into a college program at a local community college while in high school. But sadly they did away with those programs a few years ago so the ones graduating this year only know how to solve math on paper and write a complete sentence, which is ok for filling out job applications to flip burgers at $7.75 an hour but useless for anything else.

Practical skills like repairing electronics, building things. What's the purpose of being able to solve math problems if you have no use for the skill, so teach the skills the math and sciences are needed for, like calculating how strong of a circuit breaker you need to protect a machine but not trip every time you turn said machine on.

I use a pretty much equal amount of knowledge and instinct but there is also an element of improvisation in my daily activities.

That's not how I measure it, I use practical knowledge. Being able to name the capital of every state or how many watermelons it would take to sink a battleship is of no use in daily life. Now being able to repair something or figure out how much fence you need for a yard is different.

I for one didn't learn too much from school since I learn by doing and repeating the actions school was really just a big pain since all my teachers thought I was stupid.

I wouldn't care so much about that if I was God as I would people using my name as an excuse to act like rabid asses, blowing things up, killing people and things like that.

Or the tv show is whispering and then the loudest commercial in existence comes on while the tv is turned all the way up to 70.

On an interesting side note, crumpling tin foil can cause some cats to have an epileptic fit.

Or like me who's blood boils on those two days of the year on which I usually throw my phone in a drawer and work from 3 am until whatever time I finally crash from exhaustion!

They work on a lot of scifi stuff as well as commercials for tv and pretty much anything that requires special effects.

Since that's a bar it leads down to the kegs for the taps and other storage the guy probably wasn't hurt too badly since normally its only a six foot drop.
