^ that! Once you are at the point that you are officially dating its time to be upfront about things like that, that way you can support each other or hell even get some professional attention. If my ex would have told me about her issues upfront we could have worked on things instead of her getting unstable to the point that she stabs me and gets put in jail. I would have listened and helped her, even gotten her in touch with a psychiatrist since a very good one is half an hours drive away.

Exactly cancer is really just damaged cells, either through an environmental exposure like sunlight or chemicals like lead or smoking in some cases the body deals with the cells by destroying them if possible or the cells multiply too quickly and you get tumors.

Some of the stuff I dealt with would drive a weaker man to suicide but I vowed to myself and my grandfather that I would rise above them and make every day I live after that a middle finger in their faces. Once I told my grandfather what was going on he disowned my dad and left everything he owned to me including the farm I own now (which my father wanted to sell so he could bathe in booze until he died!) last I checked which was when I left they where still living in a pest infested rundown shack, good riddance to them though let the rats grow fat on them!

That's why I officially severed all ties with my parents as soon as i possibly could (mentally at nine, and legally at 18) I haven't seen or spoke to them in over a decade and really plan on paying a midnight bathroom visit to their graves eventually.
