If you had no interest in having a discussion you should have just said so from the beginning.
.
Asking questions, then putting your fingers in your ears and screaming when you don't like the answers, and then claiming no one ever answered you is behaviour I'd have expected from a good many people on this website, but not you.
.
What a colossal waste of existence this pretend attempt at dialogue has been

Playing a game where the mythology literally involves a race being kidnapped, enslaved, brainwashed, tortured, and corrupted until they become a new race of their own
.
And then complaining that there's slavery
.
.
I am convinced these people have no ability to enjoy anything in life. Their entire existences hinge on destroying things in exchange for a sense of false validation

Those riots caused billions in damage. Dozens of businesses were destroyed.
.
They were an act of violence, the extent of which we'll never fully know.
.
This fairytale world you're weaving is not the reality that the people in those cities lived

Literally answered. Repeatedly.
.
But hey, a police officer was hit so hard during those protests he was knocked unconscious. .
A 71 year old man was beaten so badly his jaw was broken. He was armed with a fire extinguisher.
.
Fun fact about self defense laws in the US:
Your life doesn't actually have to be in danger for them to take effect. If you are in reasonable fear of suffering extreme physical injury, self-defense still applies.
.
Head injuries can very easily kill a person or cause an number of other injuries.
.
That's just what I could dig up now. That doesn't include injuries not covered by the media, or injuries not reported at all.

I honestly don't know how you go about testing for STDs efficiently in a brothel. Like is there rapid std testing? 'Cause if not it seems like something you can't guarantee

I'm not all that in favour of the death penalty, but from what I've seen so far in this case, can't say I'd be opposed to it this time around.

I think cake meant more that with all the drama and hate and spite and bullshit and evil and tension it's not... GOOD that this was ever something that HAD to happen.
.
But it is a good deed, and something of a relief to see someone genuinely trying to ease some of the horrible in this situation.

Because I've literally addressed THAT part, too, iccarus, and you're acting like I didn't.

So at this point I just have to assume you're deliberately ignoring my responses

For anyone wondering:
"JoJo" Rosenbaum targeted single mothers specifically so he could assault their minor sons.
.
His victims ranged in age from 9 to 11 years old. The sexual abuse is horrific and pretty much as bad as you can get, and encompasses most things you can think of. (he plead guilty to at least some of the charges as part of a plea deal).
.
He was not killed for being a pedophile.
.
And for the people in the back:
The implication of this meme is not "it was justified to kill him because he raped children."

There are legalized brothels.
.
Most of the women in at least a few of them have mental illness and are more like prisoners. And unfortunately many are expected to adhere to extremely rigid policies that are not in place to protect them (much like the armed guards)

In a lot of places it's not illegal to be a prostitute, but it is illegal to buy sex from one. Which was meant to protect the prostitutes themselves I think since a lot of the women involved tend to be victimized and/or mentally ill, with little recourse.
.
I remember hearing an interview with one prostitute where she talks about the guy beating her unconscious or something, and when she woke up he was carrying her over to the balcony, the intent being to throw her off iirc.
.
She managed to get away. But it's a very fucked up, unsafe industry, no matter which way it gets legalized.
.
And unfortunately "take them at their word" laws can never be instituted because, as has been demonstrated far too often of late, people can and WILL lie about being victimized. Obviously not all of them. But

"the point you're missing is, that if he decided it was a bad idea to bring a gun, nothing would have happened"
.
No, mate. Literally addressed that point ad nauseum.
.
It's in the part where I say you literally cannot guarantee anyone's state of mind that night, especially the mentally unstable and unmedicated. No matter how many times you repeat it.
.
Your hindsight prediction is a theory presented as fact.

Aaaaaaand to circle the merry-go-round for the 54th time, literally all of that is moot because in America, the country where this all takes place, you're still not allowed to try and kill someone just because you were rioting and they had a gun.
.
That's not how it works. If it were, literally all of Texas would be a warzone all of the time.
.
They don't have to like him having a gun. They just have to be in control of themselves. And if they can't do that, well then hopefully they next person they encounter is also a cop or a rittenhouse, because a person like that is too dangerous to be roaming freely on the streets
