And you have no idea who the leader of the convoy is. Most of the truckers/cowboys I've seen have no "leader." They are not lead. They agree on times and places. They look out for one another. And They are in agreement about what they will do insofar as: they will not be moving until the have faith that their freedoms are intact; they will not cause violence and will deter people who attempt to do so.

Was watching one of the livestreams from a convoy and one of the people were talking about going into a supermarket and encountering a family with like a 3 year old who was fully masked. Every relative was as well.

The guy said the look the kid gave him was nothing short of terrified and he realized this kid had probably never encountered people in stores and stuff who had faces before

I can say I've seen far more people in the LGBT community these days willing to dox and harass dissenting viewpoints online (and it's actively encouraged by companies like Netflix etc), but I've no doubt you've seen your share of ugliness in that front as well, Karl.

A preacher from Alberta has been harassed fairly regularly for refusing to deny people access to their religion during all of this. He was made famous for his outbursts, but he is polish originally iirc. And he compares the tactics of the RCMP during all of this to the Gestapo.

These people or their families grew up in regimes. They know what it looks like. They know how awful it is. So if they're all saying they're afraid, that this is wrong, that there's no way back if we let things continue down this road... honestly, perhaps we should be willing to listen

Common theme I'm hearing.

When they interview born Canadian citizens a lot of the time they talk about how wrong all this is, how they just want the right to live and work, how they want peace and an end, how they're fighting for their children. They're angry and determined and sad and proud.

Famousone mentioned some such slurs for the exclusive purpose of discussion. They were directed at no one, answered the original question, and often referred to language used against famousone over his own racial identity.

For some reason happy_frog has decided to imply that this should be mass-reported for the purpose of, presumably, getting famousone's comments removed or banned. Considering happy_frog is the one that POSTED the post referencing slurs in the first place, this seems entirely disingenuous.
