However, @llamas0can0fly - archangel does not meant an angel that went bad, archangel is a title - meaning a very high ranking angel (which is true for the Bible and for the show). Satan, referred to as Lucifer in the show, was one of these high ranking archangels. Ok now I am going to bounce because Supernatural is very, very different from biblical theology and it will just get too confusing.
