No in fact I'm just judging your statements.

When you disagree with an extremist statement, there is no way to tell your political affiliation other than that you're not as extremist as the person you disagreed with. To an SJW, everyone else appears to be a rightist. To a Neonazi, everyone else appears to be a leftist.

Okay so I haven't seen all rosebud's posts, but where exactly did he/she say that an entire group is responsible for something? He/she's just exposing idiots, aka INDIVIDUALS. I might've missed something but the posts I've seen never insulted an entire group, just stupid people, whatever their affiliation may be.
Also, you absolute fucking McNugget, did you just assume that everyone who disagrees with your tumblr bullshit is a rightist? LOL! I'm personally centrist/left leaning and to be perfectly honest, both ends of the spectrum are behaving like total nutjobs right now – when you disagree with them, the far left SJWs call you a Nazi fascist racist etc., the far right Neonazis call you a feminist SJW triggered bitch. So don't try to categorize based on the very scarce info you have about someone, cause you're just WRONG. And you even dare write that "few people are smart enough to differ". Well maybe they are, but you're not one of them, lil' snowflake.

Octopuses are dank smart. They can get out of bottles. Can you? 29 comments

Indeed, but octopi is only "correct" aka acceptable because so many people say it, not knowing it's actually wrong. At least according to oxforddictionaries.com.
Besides, and this is only a slight remark, in my personal experience, people who use octopi do it to sound smart. Which is ironic considering octopi, albeit acceptable, is technically the least correct one out of the three.

In fact, it's octopodes. Octopuses is also acceptable but octopi is just wrong, because the word comes from Greek, not Latin.

Thanks :) exactly, which is why they're a lot more shocked when it happens to them, and may suffer more psychologically. I'm not saying it's a good thing that women are used to being potentially harrassed, but it's reality. I think that nearly every woman experiences some form of harrassment in her life, even if it's just catcalling (which, as the feminazis say should be considered the same offense as rape – I don't agree with that, catcalling isn't dangerous, but it is annoying af). I remember reading some story on the internet about a straight guy being whistled at by a gay guy, and he was very shocked and offended by that, because for the first time he knew what it's like to be treated that way. I don't know if that story is even true, after all it's the internet, but it sounds like it totally could've happened. And that was only a whistle. Imagine this shock times a million, along with the mental scars that obviously accompany being raped.

I fully agree, but the post is quite specific in that respect, saying that this should only include posts that reach the front page. There's plenty of time and space for discussion between when something is posted and when it reaches the front page, which means the poster can learn from their mistakes but also their misguided post is prevented from making more people wrong. But as I already wrote in another comment, I think the report system works just fine and I wouldn't add anything to it.

I've scrolled through rosebud's posts and it seems like they're a reasonable person, debunking tumblr bullshit and all that. I'd like to refer to a comment I just wrote, political correctness ≠ factual correctness. If you expose someone's bullshit for being factually wrong, good. If you scream at someone for not being PC, then fuck you.

Some people seem to confuse political correctness and factual correctness. If someone wants something taken down because it's not PC, then they're a whiny crybaby and they should grow up. If someone posts something that is just factually WRONG because they're either misguided or spread lies on purpose, then they should face consequences. Those consequences usually come in the form of another user calling the poster out on it, however sometimes the post gets so many likes because people don't read the comments and don't realize it's wrong. Personally, I support free speech, but I also support critical thinking and checking whether something that's been said is true or not. Unfortunately, not many people have the time or even care enough to really check, in which case some countermeasures should be implemented. I think the report system works fine in that respect, and I don't really see why we should add on to that. I'd like to ask OP if he/she has any specific recent posts in mind?

You old people sure love lies that support your opinions.
See? I can also say crap without providing proper supportive arguments. Doesn't make it true though.

I don't want to sound like a douchebag here, but the ones who pressured him into seeing rape as a funny thing were all boys. If he was able to open up to a woman (or even a female classmate at the time), she would probably be a lot more empathic and would legitimately try to help him.
What I'm trying to say is, most men find rape hilarious because it mostly doesn't happen to them, they can't relate to how horrible it is. Most of them have no idea that even walking down the street alone at night might be scary, because every man you see could probably overpower you. Which is why the few male rape victims like this guy suffer emotionally more than most female rape victims, because instead of empathy, they get laughed at by their peers.

Good point, guest. Imo now that cultures of the world are so intertwined, other races can adapt to milk, too. Of course it's gonna take a lot of time, but if the international system stays stable and people will be able to travel and live wherever they want, the world will be more diverse and the cultures mixed, which will make it so that one race isn't isolated from another, and all can drink milk. If we adapted so can you, but of course it'll take a lot of time. Just don't shun it completely, else you'll never adapt. Our (meaning white people's) ancestors probably shat their guts out whenever they had milk but that didn't stop them, most likely because there wasn't anything else available.

Legit question for American fsers: are high school cheerleaders and jocks really such a big deal like it's shown in so many movies/series? I mean, them being massively popular and sometimes bullying the "nerds" – is it a thing or are the movies just extremely exaggerated?

Quote from http://www.ancient.eu/hercules/ : "Hercules married Megara, the daughter of Kreo, King of Thebes, and together they had five children. Hera once more interfered and drove Hercules insane so that he killed his wife and children."
So yeah he killed Meg because Hera drove him mad. The Disney movie, as inaccurate as it is (obviously you can't put this stuff into a children's movie) is still amazing. Sassy Hades is the best Hades. Reminds me of Sassy Gay Friend, such a good show. Too bad they sold out to some soft drink company.

There's this issue a lot of people have with my country's postal service, and that is that the delivery drivers don't bother with getting out of the vehicle and only stop by the place for a few seconds, then drive away. The reason for that is that getting out of the car and ringing the bell takes some time, and so they instead just stop by the place, let the GPS tracker that's built in their cars check the place as "visited", then drive away. And then they use the time they have saved to take a nap. Then the mailman has to deliver "we missed you" cards the next day and you have to go to the post office (and wait in a long-ass queue) to actually get your package.

So I don't remember the Disney movie (I should totally watch it again sometime) and whether his adoptive parents died or not but didn't Hercules kill Meg and their children in the original mythos?

I have a nice quote for you too, and you should obey it otherwise the Dementors will get you. “We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.” – Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
See? I even cited the source!

I haven't seen the episode yet but apparently it appeared in the first episode of the third season of Rick and Morty and everybody wants to try it now. Me too, I guess, but just out of curiosity. I'm also gonna go watch the episode asap.
