And also communist can mean whatever you want as long as you convince the public that something/someone is communist. Ah, the illusion of choice.

I admire her giving him another chance. If a guy just brought another date to our date, I'd just stop bothering with him. Why would I waste my time on such a dickbag?

So true! The "chromosome crowd" drives me mad. They learnt this simplified version in middle school and now they can't accept that actual biology is a lot more complicated. There are so many different chromosomal combinations, a lot of which aren't distinguishable by the naked eye from what we consider "normal", ie. XX and XY. For example XYY symptoms are above average height, acne prone skin and learning difficulties. Just off the top of my head I can name multiple individuals I know who might have it, or each of those symptoms can just be caused by something else.
The "gender = XX or XY" people use chromosomes as the end all be all because they don't want to admit they're just judging people by what they look like, which would make then have to admit gender is at least in part performative and not set in stone.

@garlog I see your point but tbh if someone calls me ugly right after being rejected by me, the only emotional impact it'll give me is a fit of laughter.

If it was popular to be a Nazi, all these big corporations would be posting swastika emojis. They just go for what their analysts tell them will give them more $$$. No moral standards, but this is especially ironic considering their human rights violations in Asia.

I was told that girls are naturally bad at math, lol. "Nothing you can do about it, you just suck!" Told by a female teacher too. I was born in 96, so this happened in the early 2000s, not that long ago. I'd expect that mindset in the 50s, not the 2000s.

Tbh I found TLOU2 ending to be pretty good and fitting the plot and characters. Not gonna spoil it here but this is just about the only case where I didn't get the "oh THIS annoying trope" moment because it just, idk, fit with the context? Plus the scene at the very end, oh man, I actually cried.

Oh no, it was the bad online reviews, woe is me! *kicks unethical shady shit under the carpet*
Edit: for the record, I don't think sex work in itself is bad or unethical, but the way the comment was worded made it seem like there was more to it, like the people were forced to do it or something. I'm not a native English speaker so I'm not quite sure if there's a difference between prostitution and sex work? The former kind of implies an exploitative environment, y'know like a pimp and girls who are forced into it, or am I completely off the mark?

Yup yup, that's EXACTLY how my PC acted before it died and I had to get a new motherboard and CPU. Literally took minutes to react to a click, with only one browser tab opened. I was only lucky I had my tablet with school files synced with Google Drive, otherwise I wouldn't be able to turn in assignments. So on the flip side, chances are you won't even have to stage an "accident", it will probably soon die on its own. That said old Lenovos have surprisingly good endurance so who knows.

Well I'd say that's well deserved given the amount of shady, deceptive tactics from CDPR, sometimes even outright lying to consumers. Also fixing the bugs won't fix the empty, soulless world and AI.

Thank you for the recommendation! I know it's a very popular book and it's definitely on my to-read list but I haven't got to it yet.

I've been saying for the longest time that I want to be buried naturally with a tree planted over my corpse. No embalming and lacquered coffin that poison the underground water, just a shroud and a tree. Imagine if everyone did this and we had forests instead of cemeteries. I think it'd be beautiful.
