You can find kind people everywhere

It's not about the population, it's about showing kindness and mercy to a living creature. With that logic, you could easily say there are too many people in the world already.

Yeah, and have you ever heard the story about the guy and the starfish? On a beach there were thousands of stranded starfish after a storm. A man was going along the beach throwing them back in. Another man watched curiously for a moment then asked "Why are you doing that? What difference will it make? There are thousands that you won't be able to help." The man looked at him, then bent down and picked up a star fish and threw him into the sea. "It made a difference to that one."
