One time I was sitting in class, but I fell off my chair and on top an upward facing pencil sticking out of my backpack pocket. The pencil went through my foot and it took all my will not to scream bloody murder. So, and this was fifth grade, I raised my hand. Then the dead beat teacher assistant showed up, she said it must be important. So I told her my story, and she told me I would live, and I was interrupting class( all the other students were looking on interestedly.) I said to her, look there is blood everywhere and could I please, PLEASE, go to the nurse. She eventually agreed that I could get a band-aid, but only a little one please, we are running out of big ones. And that is the story of how I got a piece of graphite stuck in my body. I was stabbed in the foot.
