If I had to use this bathroom I would probably crawl in, use the bathroom, crawl to the sink and wash my hands, and crawl out. I'd be too afraid to stand.

No, the poopee would be looking at the shaft. The riders would be in the car. And if someone took the elevator to the top floor, the poop-ee would probably be able to climb up through the broken glass.
