I don't have any kind of problem with breastfeeding in public, but the thing I find odd about that picture is that she isn't sitting down. Like, idk, I just figured you would sit down and take a moment to feed your baby instead of continuing shopping.
she's in line though. i mean she could just leave whoever she's with in the line and go to her car, unless its just her and the baby. but yeah...she could at least have one of those cover thingies.
No, that definitely isn't what I meant. She has every right to breastfeed in public. It's her call about how conservative she wants to be. I'm just saying that I imagine that most women would sit down for a few minutes while their baby eats instead of walking around and shopping.
i love how i got down voted when i was the first one to say there was nothing wrong with what she is doing. i get what you're saying, but she's in the line lol. i honestly don't think there is anything wrong with what she is doing, i only made the comment about the cover thing because i know a lot of people use those and that a lot of people don't believe people should breastfeed in public.
Wait, what? I don't even...
.
I can not fathom the lack of self respect and dignity these people seem to have.
Further, I can't fathom that state of affairs at the store that let's them come into the building looking like that.(Nursing mother asside.)
what doesn't make sense to me is that she's right next to her car...why not just lay the baby on the seat and do it? that's what my mom did/does with my siblings. why the hell would she change the poor child in the cart.
Yes, I should have also included the diaper changing as an exception in my statement above. However, that mom should reconsider for reasons of privacy.
The diaper change really isn't a big deal if you have ever had kids...her car may be full of groceries and she may not have noticed the massive stinky in Walmart...she probably stepped out into fresh air and thought oh..sh...
