I have never been spanked (I, personably, disagree with the practice) and I think I'm turning into an okay adult.

I've never been spanked, but that doesn't mean I'm disrespectful to anyone or misbehaving. I just don't do things that make people believe that I need to be "punished".

All of you have completely missed the point.
The trend of undisciplined children who were rewarded for failure turns out useless and entitled pricks who expect adoration and praise no matter what their actions are or what the result is. Look to the news and you will see that some of them are now reaching "adulthood."

I wasn't spanked, I was hit with a wooden spoon. Same idea though.

It is more fun to be spanked as an adult.
