Basically yeah. How they look, if they bite them, if they're fake. Says a lot about who they are.

Um. No. A bookmark is used to remember your page. Dog ears or highlighting is used to bring attention to a sentence or word that you want to remember and find easily.

I always have those tiny neon bookmarks, but I still highlight. Helps me figure out what part of it all am I supposed to look at.
