Okay okay, let's make a point here:
When the girls says that, it is usually because she don't know how to do it and you do. But when you ask the girl to make a sandwich, you know how to make it too.
Aside from it, when you ask your couple to make something for you, you do it nicely, not "hey, do this". And you do it when asked because you love her/him. Stop with this sexist bullshit. Both sides.
Actually I think most of us do understand feminism but that posts such as this one aren't really directed at the feminist movement as a whole, but rather the extremely small but vocal portion whose idea of "equality" seems to be "punish all the males and promote females as better in all ways."

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't this post directed at girl who gets "bent out of shape when a man asks for a sandwich"
I happen to be rather possessive over certain things. The kitchen and all it's contents is one of those things. I prefer it if everyone stays out because I believe it's all mine. And because I hate people making a mess and not cleaning up after themselves. Seriously, what the hell?
It's going to piss your girlfriend off if you say "Go make me a sandwich" This phrase is known as an insult/ a woman in the kitchen joke. Sure, I'll cook. But you're not getting a sandwich tonight, asshole. We already have ingredients for tacos.
Some girls can't cook, or make sandwiches... Some girls CAN fix their own car or computer. Some guys can cook! Some guys can't fix their own car or computer either. Why do we automatically assume everyone has to play out their gender roles?
Facepalm, i dont get angry at my boyfriend for asking for a sandwhich. Its when douchbags sincerely believe they should be waited on by women and that the only place for a women is in the kitchen. It goes so much deeper, this is also assuming a girl doesnt know cars or computers. I know enough of both to get by, but when something more goes wrong, i seek out those who know more than I. Gender is not the factor, knowing my limitations is.
My partner can't cook for shit, thankfully I can. I'm also the one who fixes computers, internet, phones, tvs and other technology. Some closed-minded sexist people say I must be the woman of the relationship if I'm doing all the cooking, because apparently guys can't cook. Most of them change their mind when they actually try my cooking :3
Yes, when the internets of the world is broken, cthulhu the dark lord is here to fix it.
But in all seriousness I meant like when either of us have a problem trying to connect to the internet at home.

Yeh i know, it just sounded like you were an all mighty being which controls the internet itself :p.
Oh wait, you are cthulhu. Yes sorry for my doubt, my dark lord.
The only women I know who complain about making a guy a sandwich are single (not saying any single ladies on here wouldn't make a guy a sandwich.) I love making my boyfriend sandwiches. Heck! Sometimes I go the extra mile and cook naked! Not because I am his slave or because he is controlling but because I love him and I love making him happy even if it's just a small gesture.
