was safety, not health, might have been concerns that because vision is impaired in the costumes, that a child might have been hurt if caught in a blind spot.
Trust me dude u aren't missing out. It is like one hour lines for four year old type rides, most the staff there treats you like crap (besides the customer services and actors), and the 'best' part of all is it is like 200 bucks a ticket for all this crap. Bottom line Disneyland and world is over rated and a complete waste of money.
The one about the Haunted Mansion is untrue. They actually groom that ride the most because it needs to look very death-like, and Florida and California climates don't usually make plants die.
Wtf are you talkin about. I went there a couple months ago there was gum all over that place. It was flat out nasty. In fact I couldn't believe this when I wnet but Busch gardens was cleaner than Disney. Plus way cheaper
Prohibition happened in the 1920's. Disney World wasn't founded until the 70's and Disney Land got started in the 50's, when alcohol was legal. The first amusement theme park didn't even open until 10 years after the 21st amendment was established.
I tried to find the old articles I read about Walt Disney and Disneyworld and the speakeasies, but all I could find was stuff about Club 33. I guess I was either misremembering something or quoting an urban legend. Thanks for catching me! *puts on Cone of Shame for spreading false facts on a fact post :( *
I've only been once and that was about 7 years ago.
Maybe in a few more years
