Band. If you're not feeling parts of your brain slowly dying from lack of oxygen, you're not doing it right.
(I played low brass, trust me. I know.)

So one time we have a sub for band and he was dismissing us, “you can pack up trumpets, go ahead frenchhorns" but when he got to me and my 'trombone buddies' he said, "okay you silly tromBONERS, go ahead and pack up!" and one kid laughed but the teacher didnt know what it was about and the kid would not say so he got detention.

I play flute and piccolo. There's really no way to play softly on a Piccolo it just does't happen. Our way of getting quieter is having half the section play.

Kinda funny... So I'm a first soprano in school choir, and we're always told to shut up because our voices can be heard so much. But more often than not we get forte and fortissimo. So It's hard singing that high quietly instead of belting it out

i play the viola and laughed at this for about 30 minutes because we always have weird dynamic markings
