It's not that they are Muslim, that is perfectly ok. The problem that the U.S. and most of the world has is that they are a terrorist group. In fact, I'm pretty sure even most Muslims see them as terrorists.
i'm well aware what and who the Taliban are, my point is that they take a certain belief in the Koran that if you don't convert to Islam, then you should be killed. I'm Christian, the mother of my son is Muslim, we get along great and don't see a conflict, though when were were engaged, one of her friends said a muslim woman should never marry a christian man, but a muslim man may marry a christian woman, this is because the man has the say in how the child is raised, we both scoffed at her.
But your point has nothing to do with how they are also a terrorist organization and enemies of the united states. Do you really think we should just leave them alone?
no i don't, i'm thinking it from their point of view, they believe their version of the Koran as being if you're not of islam or willing to convert then you should be killed. how can you misinterpret what i wrote as me supporting them? hell, my brother was in the army for 21 years and i supported him when he fought in both afghanistan and iraq.
